Description

Did you know that the HSE, Labour Force Survey, reported in October 2019, that there were 602,000 people off sick from work-related stress, depression or anxiety? A whopping 12.8 million working days lost as a result. Stress, depression or anxiety accounted for 44% of all work-related ill health cases and 54% of all working days lost due to ill health.

Therefore, it is important that stress is on the organisational agenda and we develop a supportive and proactive culture; that recognises potential stressors and react quickly to support their staff and colleagues.

This video covers the importance of recognising increased stress levels of others as well as the common work-related triggers and stress behaviours within the workplace.
